Over the years OES has had to trench the world's deepest pipelines and also because of the difficulty of finding trenching DP vessels that can also support deep diving we have developed "diverless" technologies.

John Lincoln, CEO of OES, first worked on diverless pipeline installation systems in 1981 in Bass Strait, Australia.

The instrumentation and procedures that apply for subsea pipeline trenching can also easily apply to many subsea activities. This, along with the experience of our engineering, construction, ROV, survey and diving personnel, allows us to offer the following:

  • Underwater inspections
  • ROV construction operations assistance
  • Subsea pipeline trenching
  • Concrete mat placement
  • Deep water survey
  • Platform jacket inspections
  • Pipeline inspection surveys
  • Grout bag placement
  • Pipeline lifting
  • Subsea valve operation
  • Cable lay support
  • Installation of flexible flow lines
  • Geotechnical surveys
  • Drop core sampling
  • Geophysical surveys
  • Deep water dredging
